Speaker Configuration
Beosound Premiere has three front-firing speakers - left, centre, and right, complemented by additional side - and upward-firing speakers. Rather than each speaker acting independently, all speakers work together to shape and direct sound, using digital signal processing to create a coherent, natural soundstage. When a sound originates from the left, for example, the other speakers subtly contribute to its directivity, reinforcing the effect and enhancing immersion. This collaborative output makes the soundstage feel wider, more precise, and more enveloping than any single speaker could achieve on its own.

Inside Beosound Premiere, ten custom-engineered drivers work to envelop you in the action – every note, every word, every frequency alive in vivid detail. At its centre, a dedicated up-firing driver adds height and dimension. Together, they allow sound to unfold around you from all angles. Look closer and you’ll find the up-firing driver holds a significant finishing touch: 1925 holes milled into its surface, an homage to our founding year and “a never-failing will to create only the best.”

Developed by our in-house experts, it uses advanced beam-forming to create the illusion of having added external speakers – making the soundstage wider and taller than it actually is. Drawing on a deep understanding of how the human brain naturally locate sounds, Wide Stage technology™ precisely directs sound pressure through all ten drivers of the Beosound Premiere.
